We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil after it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from torment in the Fire and torment in the grave.

💡 Morning supplication for protection from the evil of the day.

2

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.

💡 Morning remembrance acknowledging Allah's blessing.

3

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I uphold Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.

💡 The chief of seeking forgiveness — whoever says it in the morning with certainty and dies that day enters Paradise.

4

O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my body. O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my hearing. O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my sight. There is no god but You.

💡 Asking for wellbeing in the body and the senses.

5

O Allah, I ask You for pardon and wellbeing in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and wellbeing in my religion, my worldly life, my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears.

💡 Comprehensive of the good of this world and the Hereafter.

6

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

💡 Whoever says it three times, no harm will reach him that night.

7

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

💡 Whoever says it three times, nothing will harm him.

8

I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet.

💡 Allah has promised to please whoever says it on the Day of Resurrection.

9

Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him.

💡 Whoever says it a hundred times, his sins are forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea.

10

There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things.

💡 Saying it ten times equals freeing four slaves from the children of Ismail.
